WHAT’S IN IT?
It is a supplementary feed for pig, suitable in a diet promoting relaxation during stressful situations. It promotes the animals rest and reduce aggression in the group.
MAIN INGREDIENTS
– Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna)
Hawthorn contains tannins and hyperoside, which provide calming action at the level of the central nervous system. It is therefore very useful in all cases of stress which afflict the life of the animals. It is also rich in antioxidants, known to counteract free radical damage.
– Valerian (Valeriana officinalis)
Valerian supports the relaxation activity of contracted tissues and is therefore useful in the case of musculoskeletal problems. It is the best remedy as a support for the establishment of a calming action, like Hawthorn. Often associated with other plants with similar action, it can be used in any situation where tension and nervousness cause a state of agitation in the animals.
– Purple passionflower (Passiflora incarnata)
Passiflora incarnata is used in folk medicine for its properties of supporting a calming and relaxing action, thanks to the presence of active ingredients which belong to the flavonoid group. Passiflora incarnata extracts are also used to promote anti-inflammatory activity.
– Magnesium chelated with methionine hydroxy analogue
Magnesium is an essential mineral, it has a physiological moderating action on the excitability of muscle tissue, as well as a buffering action in the intestine. Magnesium deficiency causes neuromuscular hyperexcitability, tremor and arrhythmias. In the chelated form with amino acids (MHA) it has a more efficient absorption.
