WHAT’S IN IT?
Gastro Health is a complementary feed useful in a diet supporting the functionality and well- being of the gastro-intestinal system.
INDICATIONS AND PROPERTIES
– Thymol (essential oil of Thymus vulgaris)
It is particularly suitable for enteric conditions, including chronic ones. Thymol is spasmolytic and carminative: this makes it suitable for all gastro-enteric diseases.
– Carvacrol (essential oil of Origanum majorana)
Carvacrol can support the antimicrobial, antifungal, antitumor, analgesic, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory activities, favoring the inhibition of the development of intestinal pathogenic bacteria associated with gastroenteritis and renal diseases. It can promote the balance of the gastrointestinal system and supports the immune system. A fundamental feature is its minimal influence on the probiotic species present in the intestine.
– Cinnmaldehyde (Cinnamomum verum essential oil)
Cinnamaldehyde is present in the essential oil derived from the cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum verum). The properties of support to antimicrobial, antiparasitic, carminative, astringent and eupeptic action are known and make it useful in cases of intestinal pathologies, especially gastroenteritis. Studies have shown that cinnamaldehyde has a stimulating action against lymphocytes with a reduction in the fecal concentration of E. coli.
– Camphor (essential oil of Cinnamomum camphora)
Its properties are known to stimulate analgesic, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activity. Camphor shows antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and Salmonella, also in synergy with common antibiotics.
– Tea Tree
Terpinen-4-ol has recognized antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity on gram + and gram- bacteria, the attack site is the cell membrane causing an inhibitory action both of glucose-dependent respiration and a loss of potassium-ions.
